China commerce ministry raises anti-dumping tariffs on ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol

China will raise anti-dumping tariffs on ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol imported from the United States and some European providers, the Ministry of Commerce said on Wednesday.

Makers affected by the duties incorporate Dow Chemical, now known as DowDuPont, Equistar, Eastman, Ineos, Sasol and BASF.

The taxes, which are as high as 75.5 percent for a few organizations including DowDuPont, will be compelling from April 12, the announcement said.

Ethylene glycol is utilized as a part of numerous shopper items including radiator fluid, coolant and different solvents and paints.
