iPad to face tough competition with Amazon's Android tablet
According to the Wall Street Journal, Amazon is all set to unveil its new android powered tablet this October.
Reports from WSJ reveals that the tablet will be featured with a nine- inch screen without a camera. The android powered tablet will also allow the users to watch video, listen to music and read e-books. It will be designed and built by a third party Asian manufacturer.
Along with it, Amazon is also planning to launch two new Kindles by the third Quarter of 2011. One with a touch screen and the other one is a new and cheaper version of the current Kindle. Both the tablets are equipped with e- ink screens.
